Cindy: What do you do with a raining cubicle?
Me: You built a roof over your cubicle farm.

Is is bad karma or wrong fengshui - Cindy's work desk has given her quite a bit of silly problems. Water was leaking from the ceiling above her desk. For the fourth time since we shifted to our new office in January. Trinkles of water became a downpour last evening. Coincidentally it was raining at the same time too. So what? The roof got hole huh? Heng arh there were a couple of us in office after working hours (another sad story). We placed a rubbish bin on her desk to collect the water/rain/liquid. I am trying hard not to snigger at this point.It was only yesterday we spoke about her desk's position which is not yielding good fengshui. Since our office move, Cindy's been down with petty illnesses. A co-worker, an eldery man with good knowledge of fengshui suggested Cindy should face East instead. East - where Sammy, our Ops! manager is seated. How can you not prosperous when facing the living laughing Buddha himself?

Anyway, I wouldn't call her desk space a cubicle. More like a lay-some-bricks-then-can-build-a-storeroom place. Who ever can get productive when facing two walls while doing work? Cashing in on the fact that The MD is quite a fengshui fanatic himself, we're crossing our fingers he gives Cindy the green light to change seats, shift tables or whatever to get out of that raining cubicle.
