I wonder if Tofu's having too much of a good life. He gets his meals on time, his cage cleaned every weekend and his treats in different forms, taste and colours. Fortunately, he doesn't bites me when I cuddle him. Otherwise he'd be branded as the brat.

Archie's returning from Hong Kong tomorrow night. Although this time I am not totally uncomfortable with his absence, I still long for tomorrow to come quickly. Nah, I didn't get him to buy me clothes from H&M; I've learnt my lesson the last time. I just want to check out his latest purchase of an Agnes B Duffel leather bag and perhaps... *winks*

Tofu's growing by the day. Exponentially I say. haha When I couldn't get to sleep at night, I would bring Tofu's cage into my room. The sound of the slighty squeaking wheel makes me sleepy. Sounds like a lullaby. Sounds like a fellow living creature accompanying me to sleep. :)

P.S. I think Tofu may be a he.

The folks have been welcoming the shy critter. Stealing peeks no less. Tofu, the pearl white winter white russian (long name!) has been adjusting pretty well to its new home. =) I still haven't find out its gender. Mainly because it's so hyper and almost impossible to grab hold of it. I couldn't bear to crush its bones while at it. Since I don't plan to pair it with another hamster, I guess it's all right to leave its gender unknown for the moment.

I just saw Tofu stretching its body and yawning. It is a good sign I read. It's happy and contented. Heh. Archie couldn't resist and got himself a black molted hammie this afternoon. His hammie cage from Habitrail is oh-so-cute. Gotta take some pictures of his 3-week old hammie too.

It's major discipline these days. Every morning I'd routinely check on the fighting fish and Tofu, making sure they're stil breathing, changing the fish tank's water, checking the food level and feeding them fresh food. Every night I'd spend some time interacting with the creatures (I'm sure they recognise me!).

There's some great news ahead. Will share in time to come ;) No no, Archie hasn't proposed.
