The folks have been welcoming the shy critter. Stealing peeks no less. Tofu, the pearl white winter white russian (long name!) has been adjusting pretty well to its new home. =) I still haven't find out its gender. Mainly because it's so hyper and almost impossible to grab hold of it. I couldn't bear to crush its bones while at it. Since I don't plan to pair it with another hamster, I guess it's all right to leave its gender unknown for the moment.I just saw Tofu stretching its body and yawning. It is a good sign I read. It's happy and contented. Heh. Archie couldn't resist and got himself a black molted hammie this afternoon. His hammie cage from Habitrail is oh-so-cute. Gotta take some pictures of his 3-week old hammie too.
It's major discipline these days. Every morning I'd routinely check on the fighting fish and Tofu, making sure they're stil breathing, changing the fish tank's water, checking the food level and feeding them fresh food. Every night I'd spend some time interacting with the creatures (I'm sure they recognise me!).
There's some great news ahead. Will share in time to come ;) No no, Archie hasn't proposed.
