For those who have been surfing the local blogs and unorthodox news channels, you'd already know that the latest hoo-haa on this little island is about the 'green flash' sightings on Sunday, 07 January (at about 1940hours) by numerous members of the public in several areas including Woodlands, Bedok, Newton and Clementi.

Some thought it's a UFO, some claimed it's a meteor while some insisted that there is a scientific explanation behind the 'flash of bright green light across the sky'. Wanjun, who sighted this mystery thingy at Newton Food Centre, said it was big, bright and seemed to have a tail (?). I am trying my very best to visualise because moi haven't even seen a shooting star in my life (those on soap dramas don't count), not to mention 'something bright green dragging across the sky'.
