To be fair, Hyderabad is slightly better than New Delhi, in terms of infrastructure and entertainment. Though I'm not staying in any fancy 5-star hotel, the one I picked off from the internet has very decent cleaniness and pretty good service. My only grouse is that it does not have wifi... I should have brought DVDs along with me.
Friends are following my blog closely these few days - waiting for me to share some hilarious experience whenever I'm travelling to such exotic destinations. Well, people, it's India. What other types of stories you expect to hear? -shakes head-
But it's a pleasant surprise to find plenty of good supermarkets around. I'm planning to visit Hyderabad Central - the city's largest and newest shopping mall. I've been having trouble finding coffee creamer and sugar cubes, when I thought they should be plenty full around.
I bought Neil Humphrey's second book 'Notes from the Same Island' at Harris. When you miss home, like this reminds you how much you yearn to go back to the arms of that silly lil island.
P.S. Guardian Health Pharmacy is called 'Health & Glow' here. And I saw a Nike Factory Outlet near the exhibition hall...
see? it isn't that bad right???
