Oh yeah, back to this. The crappy printer in office broke down for the zillionth time and The Boss had no choice but send me out to get a new printer. Well, an American client was with me... we couldn't help but 'look around' the other stuff while waiting to pay for the printer. Technie geeks, both of us. He bought some cabling. And I went for a portable optical mini mouse. I'm so over the touchpad. The bargaining spirit never left me and I got it at RMB 120 (SG$22). Well, and I didn't purposely choose this colour. This is the only one left!
Nevertheless, this baby works like magic. =)
Oh by the way it's Qing Ming today. A public holiday in China because everyone needs to commute to a faraway cemetery to give respects to their ancestors and... wait. How come it's mountain people mountain sea on the roads? The streets are more crowded than usual. It's a pain to cross the roads, but an even bigger pain to sit in the car and watch the driver zig-zag past the jaywalkers who obviously don't give an eff to safety. My safety! Urgh.
