Last week was Johnny's birthday and his truly girlfriend, Janet decided to pop him a surprise by getting him a cake and deliver it right to his face when he's busying twirling ladies on the dancefloor with his svelte salsa moves, at Union Square.

My my, one can be surprised that salsa isn't attracting old fogeys only; young executives are making the bulk of salsa enthusiasts (or 'salsaros' as they call themselves). Not too bad for my virgin experience with salsaros. Decent bunch of people with loads of passion for the dance which requires discipline (as Johnny puts it), concentration (I reckon), high level of energy for all the twirling, swirling, turning and hair-flipping moves, and a very comfortable pair of sexy black heels (as truly yours observes).

Wei is interested to pick it up too. Her reason: so that she can wear that lovely pair of dancing shoes that she has from her shoe-making company. I asked for one too so that I can tahan an entire night of clubbing until 5a.m.. She didn't quite answer my enquiry. -ahem-

Meanwhile, I'll stick with dirty dancing with hiphop and R&B music. No-rules dancing are still my thang.
